Our Journey
TransCraft Automotive was established in 2016 by Chris Storbeck in his home garage in Morrow County. Driven by a passion for auto repair and a commitment to quality service, Chris quickly outgrew his home-based setup. Later that same year, the shop moved to a 4-bay facility in Cardington. In 2021, we relocated to our current state-of-the-art facility with 8 bays, allowing us to serve more customers and expand our services. Chris remains the sole owner, guiding the shop with dedication and integrity.

Chris Storbeck’s Path to Auto Repair
Chris’s journey into the auto repair industry began in the transmission business, where he discovered his love for the field. After moving away from Columbus, Chris decided to start his own general repair shop. He found great satisfaction in developing relationships with his customers and providing them with reliable service. This passion for building connections and helping others has been the cornerstone of TransCraft Automotive.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys gardening, learning, and reading. His faith and involvement in church and Christianity play a significant role in his life. Being a father to his 8-year-old son is Chris’s greatest joy. He also spends time with his 10-year-old pitbull and values spending time with his extended family. Chris is very much a homebody, cherishing the time spent at home with his loved ones.
